Endocrinology is the science of hormones and the diseases which are caused by the excess or deficiency of these hormones.

An Endocrinologist's consultation will be required for the following illnesses:

• Diabetes (Adult, children, pregnancy)

• Thyroid disorders

• Obesity

• Lipid and cholesterol disorders

• Menstrual problems in women

• Polycystic ovary syndrome in women

• Hirsutism (excess unwanted hair) in women

• Menopause

• Disorders of male hormones (Testosterone)

• Growth disorders in children (Tall or short children)

• Pubertal disorders in children (Early or delayed puberty)

• Osteoporosis (Weak bones with fracture easily)

• Calcium and Vitamin D disorders (Rickets)

• Resistant Hypertension

• Diseases of the Pituitary gland

• Diseases of the Adrenal gland

• All other hormonal disorders
